Dear Parents/Guardians,

The holiday season is here, and the break is one that most of us are eagerly awaiting. Before we go to enjoy this time away, I’d like to share a few thoughts with you.

First, I encourage you to focus on taking time to relax, unwind, and decompress. Day by day, week by week, month by month, our world can be a hectic and demanding place. One reason the holidays are so wonderful is that they provide us a rare opportunity to pause, look around, and catch our breath.

Further, I want to express my appreciation to you, the families and community of New Brunswick Public Schools.  We are fortunate to have you as supporting parents, caregivers and organizations who work alongside our district staff to create a nurturing environment for the children of New Brunswick.

I wish our students and their families safe, joyful holidays! Whether this is a time of celebration or not, or whatever your traditions may be, I hope you’ll enjoy them to the fullest, while spending time with all those you love.
