  • June 30, 2020 - Modified Plans for July 8 In-Person Ceremonies

    On July 8, 2020, New Brunswick Public Schools will host modified in-person ceremonies to honor the Class of 2020 graduates following Governor Murphy’s announcement that New Jersey high schools can host in-person, outdoor ceremonies. The process detailed will be followed to ensure compliance with CDC and NJDOE guidelines. Additional modifications may be made based on updated guidelines provided by these agencies.

  • May 28, 2020 - Letter Regarding ALC Graduation

    Important information about the New Brunswick Adult Learning Center’s 40th ceremony has been released. This year’s celebration will take place virtually as well as in person. A virtual graduation ceremony will stream on Tuesday, June 23rd at 5 PM. An in-person ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 8th at Memorial Stadium.

  • May 27, 2020 - Update on NBHS Graduation

    Due to the current pandemic crisis and social distancing requirements, we have been developing a few plans to celebrate the students of the Class of 2020 with a meaningful and memorable ceremony. On Tuesday, May 26, Governor Murphy announced that New Jersey high schools are allowed to host in-person, outdoor ceremonies beginning July 6, 2020 as long as safety and social distancing measures are adhered to.

    Congratulations to our scholars at New Brunswick High School, New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School, and the New Brunswick Adult Learning Center that received the Seal of Biliteracy from the State of New Jersey. ¡Felicidades a los estudiantes que recibiran el Sello Bilingue del Estado de New Jersey!

  • May 5, 2020 - Closure Announcement for NBHS Students/Parents

    As you may be aware, Governor Murphy announced that school buildings in the state of New Jersey will be closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. I can imagine this decision is especially disappointing for our high school seniors who I am sure are uncertain about what the remainder of this school year will look like.
