August 27, 2025 - Welcome Back Message from the Superintendent

August 27, 2025

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I am excited to welcome back our students and families. On Thursday, September 4, 2025, we will open our doors for the first day of school, with early dismissals on September 4th and 5th. Whether you are new to New Brunswick Public Schools or returning, you are an important part of our school family.

This year, our focus is on belonging and student success. We want every student, teacher, and staff member to feel valued, respected, and connected. When our entire school community experiences a sense of belonging, we create the foundation for learning, growth, and achievement.

Our priorities remain clear: academic excellence, student well-being, and strong relationships. We are committed to classrooms that spark curiosity, set high expectations, and provide every student with opportunities to explore, develop their talents, and dream big.

Keep and eye out for important updates from your child’s school, and don’t hesitate to reach out to teachers and school administrators with any questions. Below are links to important resources, including the district’s dress code, cell phone policy. school calendar, OnCourse Parent and Student Portals, and transportation contacts:

Thank you for your support and partnership. Together, we will make the 2025–2026 school year safe, productive, and filled with opportunities for all.

Thank you,
