Academic Intervention

All students are incredibly capable and deserve respect.  New Brunswick Public Schools provides instruction that challenges each student to achieve at the high level required for productive citizenship and employment.  The Academic Intervention program is grounded in the belief that challenges are an opportunity to grow.

Gifted and Talented Program

The Gifted and Talented Program in New Brunswick Public Schools is located at Lincoln Annex School.  Our program includes students in grades 4-8.  Student learning meets the NJSLS for their respective grade level and utlizes the National Gifted and Talented Standards to go deeper into the subject matter. Students demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communications. This is evidenced by the development of innovative performance-based tasks that utilize and develop higher-level thinking skills.
