Bilingual, ESL & World Language Education

  • The purpose of a Dual Language program is to promote language acquisition in two languages simultaneously. This program includes approximately equal numbers of ELLs and native-English speaking students and it is designed to help students achieve proficiency in English and in Spanish while mastering subject-matter skills. Students remain in this program for five years -from Pre-K to 4th Grade.

Joan M. Bornheimer Memorial Scholarship

  • It is with great pleasure that the Bilingual Department announces the recipient of the 2020 Joan M. Bornheimer Memorial Scholarship, Alicia Lopez Corpeno from New Brunswick Health Sciences and Technology High School. Together with the support of the New Brunswick Education Foundation (NBEF), we successfully accomplished our goal of the $1,000 scholarship, along with an HP Laptop! Furthermore, the NBEF will continue to mentor the student throughout his higher education journey.

YOUR contributions, via the 2019-2020 Winter Wishes Basket Raffle and the Dress Down Fundraiser made it ALL possible.  A special THANK YOU to our community partners for their generous contributions as they were very much appreciated. Thank you ALL for your continued support of our New Brunswick Students.
