The New Brunswick Board of Education understands the importance protecting the environment, and recycling plays a major role in that commitment. Working with building administrators, the district's recycling efforts will continuously be monitored and we will take appropriate action to improve compliance as needed. Recycling is easier than ever with single stream recycling allowing schools to mix bottles, cans, paper and cardboard in one recycling bin. 

New Brunswick Public Schools is dedicated to maintaining clean and safe buildings for children to receive an excellent education in. The Department of Buildings and Grounds actively practives safe operating measures and protocols. To ensure the safety of facilities, New Brunswick Public Schools regularly conducts tests to keep up buildings running in a healthy manner.
