Due to the current pandemic crisis and social distancing requirements, we have been developing a few plans to celebrate the students of the Class of 2020 with a meaningful and memorable graduation ceremony. On Tuesday, May 26, Governor Murphy announced that New Jersey high schools are allowed to host in-person, outdoor graduation ceremonies beginning July 6, 2020 as long as safety and social distancing measures are adhered to.
Congratulations to our scholars at New Brunswick High School, New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School, and the New Brunswick Adult Learning Center that received the Seal of Biliteracy from the State of New Jersey. ¡Felicidades a los estudiantes que recibiran el Sello Bilingue del Estado de New Jersey!
As you may be aware, Governor Murphy announced that school buildings in the state of New Jersey will be closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. I can imagine this decision is especially disappointing for our high school seniors who I am sure are uncertain about what the remainder of this school year will look like.
