Dear School Community,

After a lengthy campaign, Americans went to the polls yesterday to vote in local, state, and national elections. As is invariably the case when we cast ballots, some of us are pleased with results, while others are disappointed. That’s simply the nature of our democracy. Everyone has a voice and together we make the decisions necessary to keep our nation moving forward.  Overall, the process of selecting our leaders and deciding ballot issues is often difficult, but the system works. In fact our democracy is remarkably good at overcoming challenges and disputes, and eventually finding answers to whatever problems we face.

Yesterday was Election Day. Today, in New Brunswick and across this wonderful country, we continue on into the future. Ultimately, we’re all in it together and we will continue to Prepare, Empower and Inspire our students to be lifelong learners and leaders.
