New Science Assessments coming for NJ studentsTop of Page

The New Jersey Department of Education has announced that it plans to implement new standardized science assessments to better align with the Next Generation Science Standards (known in NJ as NJSLS - Science). The assessments will be comprehensive (all areas of science) and will be administered in 5th grade, 8th grade and 11th grade. The assessments administered last spring (2018) were field tests; therefore no results were reported back to students/families, schools or districts.
An announcement from NJDOE about the test components for Spring 2019.
Here are the old sample tests to practice for the Spring 2019 assessments, new sample tests will be released in February 2019.
